It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here, mostly because it’s been a long time since I’ve really done anything crafty. I’ve been keeping myself busy writing articles for money and not making time for the fun stuff. Let me tell you, that’s a good way to get really burned out! So now I am going to force myself to make time for more crafts.
I’ve had a lot of fun making jewelry and there are a lot of projects that can be created quickly so that makes jewelry making a good choice to get back into crafting. If I only have fifteen minutes to work on a project, I can make a ring and feel a sense of accomplishment you just don’t get from knitting one or two rows on a sweater.
I am still a beginning jewelry maker but I would like to become more proficient, so I have decided to start going through the tutorials on JewelryLessons.com and practice each technique until I feel competent. I am starting with the beginner level tutorials and working my way up. I’ll stick with the free ones to begin with because money is tight right now, but I’d eventually like to have every single tutorial on the site and master the techniques in every one of them. I’m starting with the Ezy Pzy Ring pictured above.
