Tunisian Crochet Napkin Ring

Tunisian Crochet Napkin Ring

I am just learning Tunisian crochet. I started this piece as a practice swatch to try out 3-color Tunisian crochet. Then I decided I should try to figure out something to do with it, so I made it into a napkin ring. The red and orange almost look the same in the photo, but it really is three colors.

You could probably make these easy Tunisian crochet napkin rings without a pattern, but here are the instructions anyhow in case you need them.

Tunisian Crochet Napkin Rings

Yarn: Worsted weight, small amount each of 3 colors

Tools: Size J afghan hook, yarn needle

Gauge: Not important

Instructions:

For each napkin ring:

Chain 20, starting with color 1 and switching to color 2 in the last chain.

Complete 7 rows of Tunisian simple stitch, changing colors at the end of each pass.

Complete 1 pass of slip stitch to bind off.

Weave in all but one tail. Use the remaining tail to sew the seam, then weave it in.

One Response so far.
