These cute tote bags use 1 1/4 yards of fabric each. They are quilted with a lightweight batting and have a contrasting band and a tie with dangling fabric flowers.
According to the instructions, it should take about a day to make one of these tote bags. From looking at it, I’d say an experienced sewer could do it much more quickly, but I haven’t actually tried the pattern yet, so who knows? This pattern is rated as skill level 2, for someone with some sewing experience.
